CSR Netherlands is the Centre of Excellence for Dutch companies that are striving towards corporate social responsibility. More than 2000 companies are affiliated with this networking organization.

We are developing a dynamic and fast-growing business network comprised of members as diverse as beginners, advanced users and leaders, small and medium-sized enterprises and corporate giants. CSR Netherlands shows the market opportunities that CSR offers, facilitates mutual collaboration and provides useful information on applying CSR in practice. We inspire, connect and support companies and sectors in their efforts to make great strides in corporate social responsibility.

Targeted Impact & Commitments

Working together, the associations, companies, NGOs, research institutions, and educational, healthcare and other public authorities in our network translate CSR directly into market opportunities at three levels: the sector, the region and the chain. CSR Netherlands already reaches more than 100,000 entrepreneurs in a wide spectrum of industries, including healthcare, building and construction, textile, agriculture, facility management and clean tech.

We have multiple project and coalitions. For example:

  • Dutch Climate Coalition with more than 600 members. They reduced their CO2 footprint with 18% (519 kton) from year 2014 to 2015. www.klimaatcoalitie.nl
  • Our CSR Helpdesk with which we helped to answer 1367 questions of entrepreneurs in 2016.
  • Sustainable infrastructures: www.groenenetten.org 
  • NL Circulair! in which we help entrepreneurs solve struggles they encounter while creating products and services for a circular economy. www.circulairondernemen.nl 
  • IMVO program which helps to create examples of international sustainable chains that gain profit.
  • We bring together entrepreneurs to solve their challenges with our online communities. In 2016 we had more then 100.000 unique visitors and 3000 members. https://futureproof.community/
