DW Property’s sustainability strategy is geared towards international standards and frameworks such as the SDGs, and DW Property aims to contribute to achieving these goals with its business in the Netherlands and Germany. In particular, the following three SDGs were identified: sustainable cities and communities, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.

Sustainable cities and communities

We attach great importance to sustainability and a liveable, high-quality environment. We are committed to making cities inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. For us, sustainable cities also means taking into account the wishes of the local community.

Responsible consumption and production

Sustainability starts with yourself. The same applies to us as an organization. We want to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. We promote sustainable management and efficient use of natural resources. We aim to minimize our use of polluting and exhaustible energy sources and limit chemicals and other waste in the air, water and soil wherever possible. We focus on renewable energy use.

Climate action

We take action to prevent climate change. We want to strengthen our resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related hazards and natural disasters. We do so by integrating climate change measures into our policies, strategies and planning.
