According to the books, the ‘learning organization’ is the best way of achieving innovation. We feel the same way. Only we think that the learning organization does not consist of structures and models, but people. Not only employees, but also suppliers and clients. If you leave room for curiosity, innovative solutions arise ‘on the job’. Sometimes these go no further than one-off solutions. But it wouldn’t be the first time that a new company was created as a result. Our joint ventures in healthcare, logistics, production and social employment provision are proof of this.

Adventures are for sharing
Trendwatchers call it ‘open source innovation’ or ‘co-creation’. But when Vebego started doing it, we just went round to our clients for a coffee. And then we asked them a very simple question: “What can we do together?” The answers led to many interesting, mutually beneficial adventures. Not to mention undertakings that have greatly advanced all the parties involved. Often, these kinds of things start with a ‘simple’ cost benefit. But our joint ventures show that they can also be taken much further.

Alone you can go faster, but together you can go further
Vebego has over 100 businesses, which all in all makes for a really big group, with a huge amount of knowledge and expertise. We by no means dream up everything we know on our own. We do that together with customers, business partners and with our own people. This is because it all begins with one simple question: what can we do better together for our customers? The answer moves all of the parties involved forward. For us, making connections is an important part of this process: between people, between departments, between organisations, between regions, between countries, branches or areas of expertise.
