Art exposition SDGs x ART

On the 23rd of November, JCI Amsterdam International will kick-off a two week Art Exposition at the Art’otel in the center of Amsterdam.

The 5&33 Gallery is a unique space for contemporary artists to showcase their work throughout the year. From colourful pop art to edgy street art, from intriguing portrait series to documentary formats, this public gallery gives space to varying styles of modern art.

JCI Amsterdam International is organizing this event in cooperation with JCI Tokyo Minato Committee. The artworks which Tokyo JCI collected will be digitally displayed in the gallery. Most importantly, we aim to raise awareness on the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations (UNSDGs or SDGs).

On the opening day, we will have a formal opening with some talks about SDGs, JCI and the special relationship between Japan and the Netherlands by guest speakers. After that there will be a workshop on Japanese interesting culture , Kimono, including the demonstration of wearing Kimono. The day will be concluded with social drinks. Date: 23rd Nov 2019 from 15:00 to 19:00.
